Junior Software Developer, PTS-0738

BCC is looking for a junior Java developer to be part of a fast paced development team. The primary focus of this position will be on development and implementation of college-wide applications.

Candidates should have demonstrated proficiency in Java, JSP, SQL and XML development for the Web using MVC framework, preferably Webwork2 experience with XHTML and JavaScript is also required.

Candidates must be able to work independently and function as a self-starter who plans, organizes and delivers timely products. Candidates must communicate effectively verbally and in written form with a complex customer base.

Associate degree in a related field with two years experience in software development or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
