KMI Facilitator/ Medical Advisor

Job Opportunity Position: KMI Facilitator/ Medical AdvisorLocation:  New Jersey Medical Institute – Newark, NJType:  Part-TimePay:  $14/hrHours:  30-35 per week  Job Description:  Facilitate KMI/Extended Prep small groups after live lecture sessions. Help students to get their highest possible scores on USMLE Step 1 using their own experience and expertise in the subjects. Job duties:·  Conduct small groups effectively using interpersonal and communications skills·  A strong and solid knowledge of the basic science skills and familiarized with Small Group materials ·  Able to elicit knowledge from the students by asking open ended, thought provoking questions·  Competent in encouraging students to be effective as they review and apply what they are learning as they work·  Proficient in modeling good approaches to answering questions for students and pointing out good methods Requirements:·  Medical School Graduate·  Must have passed Step 1 exam with a score of 85 or higher·  Prior teaching/group facilitation a plus·  Fluent in English·  Strong communication skills  If interested, please contactAde Adeboye973-286-6960 ade.adeboye@kaplan.com
