The Johns Hopkins University, Institute of Genetic Medicine is seeking applicants for:

 

Laboratory Manager

Responsible for supervising the daily operations of a clinical molecular lab, including staff & equipment performance, data management, QA/QC monitors, lab purchasing.  Must have a strong aptitude toward complex instrumentation and the skills to lead and motivate a team of individuals with varying degrees of training and the technical, theoretical and regulatory background needed to deal with all facets of this clinical laboratory. MA/MS in Biological Sciences.  Minimum of five years relevant experience.  Must have direct experience with DNA sequence analysis and related platforms. The ideal candidate will have prior clinical experience meeting New York State guidelines to be recognized as a Laboratory Supervisor.
