Pearson Assessment and Information is the industry leader in the field of educational publishing, assessment, and testing. Pearson is a growing business with multiple locations throughout the United States. This high profile position will involve leading various business units on their Lean journey through the use of tools including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and kaizen. Responsibilities:-Leading process improvement activities throughout the business including project management, software development, operations, and distribution.-Utilize Lean and basic statistical tools to document and develop processes to transform Pearson and the assessments industry.-Utilize Value Stream Mapping to streamline processes and identify opportunities for future improvements.-Facilitate kaizen events in a variety of transactional and operational settings.-Lead a culture of continuous improvement.-Develop and utilize metrics and ROI to demonstrate project impact and measure performance. Qualifications:-BSIE, BSME, or BA in Management preferred, equivalent experience will be considered-Minimum of 4 years utilizing Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies-Fundamental understanding of ISO 9001, root cause analysis, and DMAIC methodology
