Learning Resource Coordinator- Miramar, FL

We are a nationally recognized for-profit, post secondary education company providing career training in the field of allied health, and we have an opening for an Learning Resource Center Coordinator at our Miramar, FL campus. Responsibilities include:- Maintaining Learning Resource Center schedule.- Making appointments for students and instructors for tutoring and advising.- Teaching study skills.- Tutoring students for basic study skills, math / dosage calculations, time management, core courses, CPAT.- Organizing student Mentors and organizing meetings among students and mentors.- Attending orientation for new students to introduce the Learning Resource Center.- Provide material for CPAT students and prepare for evaluations.- Documenting daily activities in a log book, e.g. attendance and usage at Learning Resource Center.- Maintain a student services area in the Learning Resource Center.- Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Qualifications:· Must have 1-2 years library assistant experience to include library systems/ procedures· Expertise in computers and database/word processing/spreadsheet software. · Experience using online databases, Internet and traditional print resources.· Good communications skills and the ability to work well with a wide range of people. · Sufficient experience to provide oversight and supervision to the Learning Resource Center.
