Librarians: Reference and Instruction Librarian (part time)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
Great opportunity for a part-time Reference and Instruction Librarian. We are looking for approachable professionals with superb teaching and technology skills to work in the Lesley University Library. Responsibilities include providing reference assistance in person, by phone and electronically to a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff; instructing individuals and classes, on the research and use of print and electronic information; collaborating with library staff and university faculty; providing technology support for public-use computers; and compiling resource tools and bibliographies. Must be able to work 1- 2 week nights and alternating weekend days; 10-14 hours per week.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:  
Master of Library/Information Science degree and reference experience required. Previous instruction experience preferred.
