Make a Difference! Tutor the SAT for Kaplan Premier!Kaplan Premier, the one-on-one tutoring division of Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, is seeking part-time math and verbal instructors to provide one-on-one in-home tutoring for our students. By tutoring students in the PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests or ACT, as well as various secondary school subjects, our tutors have the unique opportunity to guide their students through some of high school's most difficult challenges. Since lessons are conducted in the students' homes, tutors must have access to reliable transportation. We are currently seeking tutors in the Port Washington area to work a minimum of 6-10 hours/week.Qualifications: Experience teaching, tutoring, counseling or coaching, a strong academic background, and high SAT, ACT, or GRE scores (95th percentile) in either the math or verbal sections. Completion of at least two years of college also required. Beyond that we're looking for outstanding role models who want to help high school students achieve, so excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a student's attention are a must.
