We currently have an opening for a Manager, Project Management Office. Responsibilities include: Project management and development, including management oversite of a virtual project team Working with Business to capture and clarify requirements Define touch points to existing process flow Liaise with Business and IT, leveraging SMEs Analyze dependencies, contingencies, potential synergies, and risks Assess impact to current state Create project timelines, start and end dates, Scope resource needs and skill sets Define deliverables and milestones Initiate implementation Assign project teams Manage all phases of project execution Creation of new templates and tools to cover requirements gathering, status reporting, specifications, test plans etc. and to implement these within the IT environment to report on progress against plan in a systematic, proactive manner See project to completion Conduct or report post mortem, lessons learned, reconciliation Overtime and some travel are required.Candidate will have at least 3 years of work experience, in a highly analytical role, preferably as a management consultant or PMO manager and a basic understanding of web based application development. Familiarity and experience with Project Management methodology, PMP certification a plus. Medical education experience or previous experience with the pharmaceutical industry and medical faculty is a plus. Must be a service oriented, self-starter with experience in a call center or customer service environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Visio and Project and web applications are necessary. College degree preferred.
