Job Summary:



The Manager of Budgeting, Planning & Analysis is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities related to the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and internal management reporting functions.  In addition, the Manager will assist the Controller in finance-related business process changes, financially related system solutions and planning tools.  Position should maintain the utility of the budget databases as well as data integrity between the budget database, the general ledger system and the payroll system.  Position manages security of the organization’s day-to-day financial and salary activities.

 

Qualifications:10+ years of progressive and broad financial experience that includes managing staff.  Working knowledge of the accounting discipline and financial statements required.  Experience in implementation and development of new financial software packages essential.  Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of relational databases.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Ability to work in a team and lead the team.  Energetic self-starter.  Proficiency in problem-solving.  Excellent analytical and organizational skills.  Must be adaptable to changing business environment.  Systems aptitude (to bridge business problems with technology solutions).  Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline; MBA/CPA highly desirable.
