Manager of Overseas Recruitment 

 

The Manager of Overseas Recruitment Offices for St. George’s University will be responsible for managing the recruitment efforts at all designated overseas recruitment offices.  This will include working with the Dean of Enrollment Planning and staff to create and manage an overall recruitment strategy which increases awareness and interest for programs offered through the University’s Schools of Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Arts and Sciences.  This individual will manage Overseas Recruitment Counselors positioned in SGU’s overseas offices currently located in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, New Delhi, Beijing and Africa and coordinate their activities as directed by the Office of Enrollment Planning.  This position will be based in our main office located in Long Island, New York.



Responsibilities

 

Ø  Implement targeted regional recruitment strategies designed to increase enrollment in each of the Schools and aid the Dean of Enrollment Planning in the continual review and planning of strategies. 

 

Ø  Supervise the Overseas Recruitment Counselors in each office; monitor their marketing activities and manage their budgets against the target goals.

 

Ø  Work with Overseas Recruitment Counselors to develop, maintain and enhance relationships with representatives from universities, organizations and offices within each region.

 

Ø  Conduct ongoing analysis of recruitment and marketing efforts, and make recommendations based on findings

 

Ø  Present information collected on each targeted country or region to support strategic decisions on the University’s international recruitment efforts

 

Ø  Provide progress reports to identify trends and new opportunities

 

Ø  Set up appointments and meetings for the Dean of Enrollment Planning and other members of SGU administration, as appropriate, to further strengthen international relationships, affiliations and partnerships

 

Ø  Establish written policies and procedures for Overseas Recruitment Counselors

 

Ø  Manage goals and activities of all Overseas Recruitment Counselors and provide corresponding status reports

 

Ø  Contribute to the development of the marketing and communications plan for international recruitment based on ongoing market research

 

Ø  Conduct ongoing evaluation of processes and adjust as necessary to ensure compliance with the overall recruitment strategy of the Office of Enrollment Planning
