Marketing Specialist

Dickinson State University and the Strom Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation are seeking an energetic, entrepreneurial Marketing Specialist for a new, exciting program.  Reporting to the Director of the Strom Center, the Marketing Specialist will perform a range of functions including: conducting market research; utilizing market research to develop and promote a single marketable image for Dickinson and Stark County; continuously researching and monitoring labor market opportunities and best practices in attracting talented individuals to the community; developing and implementing strategies to drive talented prospects to the region’s web page.  Creative and innovative marketing specialists possessing excellent oral and written skills and who are able to work under pressure, develop and implement specific strategies related to the talent attraction initiative, and work on multiple projects simultaneously will enjoy the challenge this new position offers.  Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (a master’s degree is highly desirable) and at least two years of marketing or marketing research experience.  Strong analytic skills and the ability to think strategically are also essential for success in this position.
