Media Technician

Media Technician, Senior - #557550 The East Valley - Distance Learning department is seeking a Media Technician Senior. The incumbent will prepare and operate all Video Conferencing classroom equipment; maintain accurate records for problems that arise: i.e., equipment breakdowns, adjustments, documents discrepancies in course outlines and schedules and makes sure all commercial video tapes have copyright clearance; perform successful monitoring and maintenance of computer lab hardware, software and services which includes: PC's, laser printers, scanner, audio headsets, Dell projector, and network hardware; communicate with students and faculty to address problems and possible solutions; report needed repairs or potential hazards to the appropriate department as soon as identified; provide technical support to Distance Learning administrative staff; take the initiative to identify and solve problems. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree or two years technical training in related field AND one year experience in operation and maintenance of audiovisual equipment; OR, three years experience in operation and maintenance of audiovisual equipment; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education. .Annual Salary: $25,013 - $28,000 depending on experience.
