Medical School Program Assistant Needed ASAP!

Temp-to-Perm Vacancy!!! Spherion in contract with a University in downtown Boston is seeking a proactive and detail oriented Program Assistant to join their team!  The Department provides educational courses for future physicians and nurses.  The assistant will be coordinating various program events and facilitating with the faculty to ensure organized conferences and events.The selected Program Assistant will be working on numerous programs at once so an ability to multi-task and take initiative are essential in this role.  This position also involves working in a team environment, reporting to a direct Supervisor and following the program process steps for completion.    The vacancy will start temporary and could lead to permanent for the right candidate!  Hours are Monday thru Friday from 9-5.  Duration is open at this time.  Start date is as soon as possible.Requirements: 2-3 years administrative/coordination experience required; event planning experience preferred; interest or knowledge in public health/health care; B.A.; at least 70% proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to pass a CORI background check. Interested Candidates may submit resumes directly to JoannaNandi@spherion.com or EmilyMakin@spherion.com Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
