NCLEX Content Specialist III

The NCLEX Content Specialist III is responsible for orienting new employees and for providing ongoing education and feedback to all NCLEX Content Specialist; this person is also responsible for investigating and coordinating the production of innovative test items and participating in related research projects. The NCLEX Content Specialist III will also assist in ensuring the quality of the NCLEX items by researching item-related incidents and conducting database searches as required. The NCLEX Content Specialist III will facilitate item development meetings and will edit, review, and validate NCLEX® items and classify them with respect to their content along with several predetermined dimensions. The NCLEX Content Specialist III will take the lead in providing nursing content expertise throughout the entire item development process with NCSBN volunteers, committee members, and staff.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: ' Effective project management skills' Excellent written and oral communication skills' Effective conflict management skills' Effective time management skills' Excellent relationship management skills' Training and coaching skills' Great attention to detail ' Strong clinical nursing skills Travel requirements: Some travel as needed to attend client meetings ' Master Degree in Nursing' 5+ years clinical experience ' Knowledge of current nursing practice ' Experience with test item development and associated technology
