National Professional Development Sales Manager

Due to our continued growth, Vantage Learning is actively seeking an experienced sales professional to join the team as a National Professional Development Sales Manager.
The National Professional Development (PD) Sales Manager is responsible for selling Vantage professional services to schools, school districts, and/or other educational entities.
This person reports to the Vice President of Professional Development. While the National PD Sales Manager is located in one of several strategic geographical locations, the individual will work nationally.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospect schools, school districts, and other educational entities to create a pipeline of professional services opportunities Leverage existing relationships and develop new relationships with educational entities in order to sell professional servicesWork closely with the Regional Sales Managers to identify product (My Access!) opportunities; present Vantage professional services in tandem with product opportunitiesManage established accounts to ensure full client satisfactionIdentify up-selling opportunities as well as opportunities for other Vantage products and servicesNational travel required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
BS in Education or related field required, MS preferred3+ years experience selling in the K-12 education marketStrong high level relationships in the K-12 marketStrong knowledge of the K-12 (and education) procurement processStrong knowledge of PD and Professional Services and the sales process pertaining to this areaExcellent written and oral communication skillsWillingness to travel nationally
