Nurse -- 1 LPN

Position Description

LPN needed for Intensive special needs classroom serving medically fragile students with multiple disabilities. Position entails working with classroom RN to meet medical needs within the classroom which include feeding (some tube), seizure monitoring, administration of medication, assessments, consultation with student’s primary care physicians and families, working with teaching staff and therapists to address students’ health needs in context of an educational setting, and implementing health care plans.  Also includes assisting the classroom teacher and instructional assistants with delivery of educational programs.  School hours and vacations with an additional stipend for working summer sessions.  

Position Requirements

LPN certification required.  Experience in school settings with students with severe special needs preferred. 

Salary Range:  commensurate with experience
