Working collaboratively with other nursing leaders, you will analyze needs and then develop, implement and evaluate programs/curricula for orientation, staff development, continuing education and performance improvement. To qualify, you must have a current NYS RN License, MSN, and 5 years of clinical experience in a pediatric emergency or critical care setting. BLS, PALS, TNCC required. You must possess strong critical thinking skills, a high degree of energy, strong planning and prioritizing skills, a systematic approach to problem solving, and demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities. The following are all considered assets in applying for this opportunity: previous teaching experience, knowledge of JCAHO and regulatory standards, specialty certification.
