Nurse Practitioner

Washburn University invites applications for a full-time Nurse Practitioner position in its Student Health Services department.  This position reports to the Physician/Director of Student Health Services.  Work schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  Assigned responsibilities include providing patient care for a diverse student population.  Some supervision and instruction of clinical students from the University’s School of Nursing is also involved.

Located on a spacious, attractive campus in the capital city of Kansas, Washburn enjoys municipal support and is a state-assisted university comprised of six academic units with approximately 7,000 students enrolled in traditional undergraduate, two-year associate and professional graduate degree programs. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   Master’s degree in nursing.  ARNP Certification.  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Two years’ clinical experience.  Gynecologic care experience.  Excellent benefits package.
