Tysons Corner Children’s Center is a leader in the childcare arena.  We are a non-profit childcare center with 50 employees and over 150 families at two locations in the Tysons Corner area.

Position Overview

We are currently looking for a full-time Office Manager to manage and implement the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general administration functions which include but is not limited to:

§         maintaining records management systems;

§         preparing reports and analyses;

§         summarizing accounting data for the outside CPA consultant on a monthly basis; and

§         providing support to the Executive Director.    

Minimum Qualifications

Individuals must have:

§         Five years plus experience in an Office Manager role in a company with a minimum of 30 employees.

§         A Bachelors degree (preferred) or Associates Degree

§         A solid knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll software systems

§         Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills

§         The ability to adjust and/or identify any unrecorded transactions for outside CPA consultant

§         Be able to analyze monthly financial statements prepared by outside CPA consultant and prepare year end schedules for financial statement review

·         Individuals must have the ability to:

-          proficiently use Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets; knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software preferred

-          work in a fast paced organization with multiple responsibilities

-          work well with others in a shared environment

-          effectively communicate both in written form and verbally  

-          analyze and summarize financial related data into meaningful information
