Operations Manager, iQ Academy Minnesota

Job Summary: The Operations Manager is KCDL management representative on site for iQ Academy Minnesota.  The Operations Manager will serve as a single point of contact for information flowing to and from the partner, the Fergus Falls School District, and will be responsible to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of KCDL responsibilities in the operation of  iQ Academy Minnesota.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:Assist in the recruitment and hiring of KCDL employees and contractors for iQ Academy Minnesota.Provide daily supervision for KCDL employees and contractors working in iQ Academy Minnesota..Work closely with KCDL Marketing to plan and execute recruitment and retention strategies.Represent KCDL in the daily execution of its areas of responsibility in the operation of iQ Academy Minnesota..Serve as the main point of contact for the school district in the daily operations of iQ Minnesota..Coordinate the provision of identified curriculum for all core and elective courses, technical support, distribution of hardware and the payment of internet stipends provided by KCDL.Participate in the planning, execution, and revision of policies related to increasing student engagement and student success in iQ Academy Minnesota..Follow up on all concerns relating to technical support for iQ Academy Minnesota. students and teachers and make appropriate contacts to insure adequate service is provided.Participate in annual reviews of iQ Academy Minnesota. and make recommendations to the  Director of iQ Academies for improvements and adjustments to curriculum offerings, technical needs and other operational concerns.Prepare reports on iQ Academy Minnesota. for KCDL and the school district as requested.Raise all concerns related to the operation of iQ Academy Minnesota. with appropriate KCDL staff.Attend conferences and participate in organizations related to online learning and/or alternative educational programs as appropriate.Participate in the planning for launches of new iQ Academy locations as requested by KCDL.Coordinate all services needed to insure the successful operation of iQ Academy Minnesota..

High-Position requires a high degree of adaptability.  Incumbent will be faced with a variety of issues on a day-to-day basis and will be expected to respond to these issues appropriately.

 

Working Conditions:

Work to be performed in the offices of  iQ Academy Minnesota. and around the state as needed.  Regular in-state travel, and periodic out of state travel are required.

Experience and Education:Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or Education Administration is requiredMasters Degree is preferredMinimum of 3 experience in administration is required, 5 years is preferredEducation administration experience preferredExperience working at a distance utilizing technology is preferred 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Effective management and supervision skills required

· Knowledge of customer service and support principles is required

· Problem solving ability is required
