Oracle Warehouse Builder Expert Needed!

Are you looking for a long term project to really sink your teeth into?  Think you have the chops to pull it off?  Read on…Our client needs 2 Senior Oracle Warehouse Builder ( which is a Oracle’s comprehensive tool for ETL) expertise in support of the Decision Support System and the Integrated Operational Data Store (iODS).  Requirements • Define data transformation rules and determine most appropriate method for processing (extract-based, load-based, or dbms-based)• Prepare detailed daa mapping documentation• Code ETL logic (transformation code) within the Oracle Data Warehouse Builder tool.  This is expected to be a combination of PL/SQL and SQL-based UNIX scripts to support data value transformation. • Load data into Core data area of the DSS and/or iODS systems. • Conduct timing and capacity testing to ensure production support capability • Develop exception and validation reports for transformation and load jobs. • Conduct data value testing at the conclusion of ETL development • Schedule ETL jobs using the Tivoli Scheduler Tool • Transfer knowledge to internal Personnel Minimum Requirements• Proposed candidates must have 4+ years of experience using the Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) toolset with expert level knowledge of the 9i and 10g version/architecture stack of the tool.  • In addition, proposed candidates shall also have 1+ years of experience working with K-12 Student Data.  • We request that vendors responding to this work order pre-screen their candidates and only submit their top two (2) choices.The initial contract will be from July 1, 2008 thru June 30th 2009 with the possibility of extension…If this is the kind of challenge that excites you, email Amy.Carbajal@modisit.com .
