We love our teachers! Join our nurturing and creative team! Passionate learning begins in our school - as children learn through play, exploration, and discovery. Our highly regarded Jewish Nursery School in Brookline (Coolidge Corner) seeks preschool teachers, who love to work with children.

 

We currently have a position available for a Lead Preschool Teacher. Join our supportive and dynamic staff in working with a culturally diverse group of children for the school year program starting August 2008. We also will have a six-week Summer Program in 2009.

 

Preschool Lead Teacher: Socialization and respect for others are important elements of our developmentally appropriate preschool program. The staff work daily to promote the children’s friendship skills, problem solving, and enhancement of self-esteem. This Preschool Teacher will co-teach and create a new team in a class of young four- and older three-year-old children.

 Requirements: The candidates must be EEC qualified: either preschool teacher or preschool lead teacher qualified, have an ECE degree or degree in a related field with ECE courses, and classroom experience or student teaching. Candidate should be comfortable working with peers and parents and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
