Location: Herndon, VAYour location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend The Product Development Director will lead multiple interdisciplinary teams in building a state of the art web-based software product for a fast growing educational organization.  Job Responsibilities· Manage multiple projects and teams across varying functional areas.· Work together with business teams, technical teams, and writing teams to help build a world class web service· Develop requirements, tasks, estimates, project plans, test plans, etc.· Ensure projects are meeting business objectives.· Provide reporting on project milestones and deliverables to executive staff.· Participate in task organization and prioritization processes.· Contribute towards maintaining and improving team efficiencies.Requirements· Must have a very strong work ethic, this is critical for a startup organization like ours.· 10yrs+ of Java/J2EE, XMLJDBC and SQL Server· 2 to 3 years work experience with success in managing complex software and web product projects.· Must be great at estimating tasks.· Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities.· Knowledge of or ability to pick up on web technologies.· Must have excellent written and verbal skills.· Must have initiative and the ability to work independently.· A background in Web/CS/Engineering is ideal. Education Required· You must have a minimum of a BS/BA from a nationally ranked college or university.  About Hudson IT & Telecommunications Hudson IT&T serves as a trusted resource for clients seeking high-quality technology professionals and IT solutions.
