Program Director - PharmacyTechnician Certificate Program

Sullivan University is seeking a program director and instructor to develop and teach courses in the Pharmacy Technician Certificate program.  Responsibilities include assisting in the development of program curriculum and promotion to lead efforts toward ASHP (American Society of Health System Pharmacists) accreditation, while also providing classroom instruction and mentorship to students in order to prepare them for careers as Pharmacy Technicians.  The objective of the Pharmacy Technician Program is to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions in pharmacies as well as prepare for national certification.

 

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:An Associate Degree in Pharmacy TechA current ASHP certificationAt least three years of experience working in a pharmacy that meets ASHP guidelinesMember of a national pharmacy organization and the corresponding state affiliate

Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees and/or teaching experience.
