Nursing Faculty- Full Time / Adjunct

West Coast University (WCU) has a long tradition of helping people succeed, and we are currently seeking daytime and evening Full Time/ Part Time / Adjunct Instructor for our Los Angeles and Orange County campus. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing school as we build a unique and new Associate Degree in Nursing program as well as continuing our training in our Healthcare Administration degree program.

We are currently seeking Full-Time / Adjunct nursing faculty for Classroom and Clinical Instructor for our Associate Degree in Nursing program in the following areas:

Med Surg. / OB / Critical Care

 

Under the general supervision of the Dean of Nursing delivers class and/or clinical instruction according to an approved course syllabus using accepted and effective teaching methods; develops daily lesson plans; advises and tutors students; maintains current and accurate attendance and grade records; remains current in applicable program teaching field; participates in faculty meetings, instructional seminars and in-service training sessions.  Participates in school activities such as faculty meetings, student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.  

 

 

RN Faculty - RN Program - LA and OC Campus

 

Possess a Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

· Current State of California RN License.

· Min of 5years clinical experience with previous Teaching exp. desired

· Board of Registered Nursing instructor approval.
