Recreation Specialist

About the Company MTC operates centers for Job Corps—a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) funded job-training program for disadvantaged youths between 16 – 24 years. Ninety-eight percent of our students live at the center during their training. Counselors and advisors help them to overcome social and emotional barriers to employment. Additionally, we provide academic, vocational and recreational programs, leadership opportunities, health care, and substance abuse counseling to raise self-esteem and enhance student life. We need talented individuals to fill the role of Recreation Specialists for MTC. In this position, you will be the one who plans and organizes recreational and educational activities; delivers fun and learning; motivates youth to participate in voluntary programs; provides transportation to off center activities; keeps fitness center environmental safe and clean.

Qualifications

One year related experience.

Knowledge of computer software programs and email.

Associate of Arts Degree or associated field.

Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
