Duties And Responsibilities:

The Research Analyst collaborates with medical researchers, senior statisticians and epidemiologists on national and international AIDS clinical trials with a focus on evaluating anti-HIV experimental therapeutics, including HIV vaccines, as well as studies on the pathogenesis of HIV disease. Duties include clinical trial study review, forms design and review; stratification/randomization of studies; statistical programming, data analysis, and report writing under the mentorship and supervision of senior staff. The candidate will serve on internal CBAR committees.


Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Basic Qualifications: MA/MS in biostatistics or statistics is required. Experience with clinical trials, failure time and categorical data and statistical software such as SAS, Splus and R are highly desirable. Candidate must be independent and self-motivating. Additional Qualifications: Unofficial copy of MS transcript and email contact information for 3 professional references attached to resume when applying.
