The Bronfenbrenner Life Course Center within the College of Human Ecology is seeking an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director of the Bronfenbrenner Life Course Center (BLCC) will serve as a liaison between the BLCC and university, college and departmental academic units and faculty. Responsibilities of this position include, organizing conferences, providing leadership and oversight of BLCC-funded working groups and seed grants, assisting faculty in identifying funding sources, and assisting the BLCC director in development of center grants and program project. This position is also responsible for writing administrative reports and developing the BLCC website and outreach information, providing vision, budget management, and supervision for BLCC administrative support and project staff. The Assistant Director will communicate with BLCC audiences about mission, values, expectations and outcomes for BLCC work. Develop strong collaborative relationships between social science departments across campus and at other institutions. This is a half time position.

This is a two-year term position with the possibility of renewal based on performance and available funding.
Required Qualifications:Position requires a Ph. D. in Human Development, Psychology, Sociology or related field. Demonstrated leadership, management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication skills. Prior grant writing and budgetary management experience necessary.
