RESEARCH ASSOCIATE I: CEPARE  #7582, 7583

Center for Educational Policy, Applied Research and Evaluation (CEPARE)

100% time, grant funded

 

This position will support the long and short term research, policy analysis and evaluation projects of CEPARE.  The Research Associate I usually serves as a project director and has project management responsibilities for larger projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator and has some direct project leadership and development responsibilities, especially in smaller projects.  S/he directs specific research and research management tasks including; development of the research design or project plan; supervision of project staff responsible for data collection, development of analysis files, analysis of project data using complex canonical analysis procedures, causal modeling, and other inferential statistics, preparation of project reports; and consultation and coordination with contracting agencies.  S/he also prepares and presents papers at conferences and participates in the preparation of articles and other materials for scholarly publication.

 

Qualifications:  Required:  Masters' level in relevant, related field or equivalent education and experience.  Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in statistical analysis.  Familiarity with K-12 school systems.  Substantial experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research and/or evaluation projects.
