We are looking for a SQL 2005/Reporting Services Analyst. This is a 3 month contract to hire position with an education organization in Denver, CO.SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position will support an Enterprise Application Group in the following technologies: - SQL Server 2000 and 2005 database implementation and architecture. - Microsoft Reporting Services on SQL 2000 and SQL 2005. - Designing and implementing web-based applications. - Assignments will be administered consistent with policy and State law. - Designing and implementing support and training programs. - Responsible for timely communication on the current status of all assignments, including problems or issues to management. - Supports the communication of policies, procedures, and schedules that allow successful usage of supported systems and software. Must have the following skills:- SQL Server 2000 and 2005 Architect designs to support Data Quality  Management applications. - Develops and maintains complex T-SQL scripts, procedures and functions. - Develops report delivery mechanisms using Microsoft Reporting Services to communicate the quality of data to departments and concerned parties based on need. - Understands application development methodologies from a designer and developer perspective. - Serve as liaison to technical staff in other departments. - Exhibits the ability to work independently and identify priorities for completion of multiple tasks / projects. - Supports a team environment by working collaboratively in the design and critiquing of projects and solutions. - Advises upper management on product development issues arising from product problems identified through support calls with the customer. - Handles customer problems arising from use of team supported system. EDUCATION: - Minimum – Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences or Computer Information Technology.To Apply: Apply Online Now!
