SQL Server Developer

Wilson Language Training is dedicated to providing the teaching community with the resources needed to help their students become fluent, independent readers.

The Technical Development Team is responsible for creating and maintaining websites and community portals for Wilson customers, web-based training for all Wilson products, and integrated business processes using Microsoft CRM.

This position is responsible for creating, maintaining, and keeping secure the data warehouse for Wilson Language Training. Perform physical and logical database design and work with system administration to ensure the database integrity and security. Recover corrupted data and eliminate data redundancy. Use tuning tools to improve database performance.

Essential Job Functions include:

1. Code, test, and debug TSQL stored procedures.
2. Create user defined functions.
3. Create triggers.
4. Maintain SQL Servers.
5. Tune performance of databases (indexing.)
6. Perform database back ups and transactual recovery.
7. Repair corrupt data and maintains database cleanliness.
8. Migrate data from legacy to new SQL Server Databases.



Skills

 

1.  MS SQL Server development skills.

2.  Writes stored procedures.

3.  Relational database design.

4.  Web development using Microsoft .Net tools a plus.
