SUMMER CAMP STAFF, TEACHERS, COUNSELORS

Maplewood Country Day Camp, an accredited day camp in South Easton, MA, has been providing a variety of exciting children's programs since 1965.
At Maplewood, children from ages 4-14 have the opportunity to express their creativity, to strive for achievement, to experience fun and adventure, to participate and develop skills in physical fitness and to form long-lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.

If you enjoy working with children; the outdoors; environments that are rewarding and challenging then Maplewood is the place for you to be this summer.  Camp dates are June 23-August 15.  Hours are Monday-Friday from
9 A.M. to 4 P.M. 

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Senior Counselor:
Responsible for leading a group of children through their daily activities.  Experience working with children is required.  Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.  Will also be responsible for supervising Jr. counselors and Sr. CITS. 

Music Instructor
Applicant should have experience working within a program that encourages enjoyment of song, rhythms and sound.  Ability to play an instrument a plus but our program does not have an instrumental component.  You will be given the opportunity to bring your own creativity and originality into the program.

Creative Theater Instructor
Applicant should have experience teaching and running theater games and activities which are geared to help children gain confidence and become comfortable in group situations.  The instructor must have the ability to control groups of children while still allowing for creativity.  Instructor should have a working knowledge of creative games and their goals and an understanding of improvisational theater techniques and how to teach them.
