Senior Admissions Coordinator-Phoenix

Description:Purpose of the Job/Principal Responsibilities: Sr. Admissions Coordinators participate in the day-to-day administrative operations of their respective start teamsTypical activities for a Sr. Admissions Coordinator include:- Data entry in C2K - Processing and quality control of student files- Enrolling students into degree program- Monitoring attendance during add/drop week- Serving as liaison between start team, financial aid and academic advising- Collection, scanning and linking of admissions essential documents- Any other project as assigned by the Admissions Manager, Director of Admissions, Executive Director of Admissions, Executive Director of Admissions Operations, VP of Admissions, and SVP of Admissions.A Sr. Admissions Coordinators breakdown of activities varies depending on team to which he/she is assigned, the current needs of the start team, and the discretion of the Manager.Measurement of Success:Sr. Admissions Coordinators will be evaluated based on the metrics established for their teams as well as: (a) ensuring that all students are registered for new student orientation (b) all enrolled students start and attend class (c) all admissions essential documents are quality controlled, link, scanned, and sent to the needing departments (d) their ability to learn required and updated processes and follow them correctly and productively; (e) their ability to work effectively on a team, both within and across Kaplan University departments.Qualifications:Experience Required:- Must prove ability to use Microsoft Office programs and to learn other systems- Bachelors degree preferredPosition Requirements /Scope of the Job/ Skills Required:- Meticulous attention to detail required- Must be able to work some evening and weekend shifts- Ability to communicate accurately and positively by telephone, e-mail, and other media to students and internal customers, including other Kaplan University and KHE departments- Ability to follow processes, work effectively on a team, and maintain a positive attitudeSalary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceFull time employees enjoy these outstanding benefits: *401(k) plan *Comprehensive health, dental and short term disability & long term disability plans *Business casual dress code *Sick days, personal days, holidays, and vacation days *A friendly, team oriented environmentJob Location: Phoenix, AZJob Number: 6499BRCompany URL: http://www.kaplan.eduCompany Profile:Kaplan University is an institution of higher learning dedicated to providing innovative undergraduate, graduate, and continuing professional education.
