Senior Java Developer

Our Client is seeking a senior Java developer to assist with the architecture, design and development of a new web application for credit card processing.This is a six month contract assignment with the possibility of extension.  The developer should have the following experience: · Recent demonstrated experience in web application development using Java/J2EE· Demonstrated experience in principles of object-oriented design, modeling and modern design patterns· Strong analytical and communication abilities · Specific technical skills required are:o  Current development tools including Eclipseo  Source control with CVS or Subversiono  Application frameworks such as Struts or Springo  HTML, JSF and JSPo  JDBC, SQL and relational database design concepts · In addition, we prefer candidates who have experience with:o  Java 6o  ORM tools and techniqueso  Web service architecture and designo  UI design principleso  Javascripto  Experience or familiarity with consumer credit card processes and procedures will be helpful but is not required.
