Senior Oracle Payroll Analyst

The Rockefeller University, a world-renowned center for research and graduate education in the biomedical sciences, seeks a Senior Oracle Payroll Analyst to join our Information Technology.

The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of supporting Oracle Payroll. Will configure and modify the Oracle Payroll application to meet business requirements, analyze and troubleshoot Oracle Payroll functional and technical problems to quickly formulate and provide solutions, and reconcile Oracle Payroll costing, taxes, balances, etc. Will also support and maintain payroll interfaces, open and monitor Oracle Service Requests, and participate in patch and upgrade unit and integration testing. Will be required to interact with functional users in order to identify needs and to suggest technical solutions. Other duties will include the support of other Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) modules as they pertain to Payroll such as General Ledger, Labor Distribution, and Grants.

Bachelor's degree required; educational emphasis in computer science or equivalent preferred. Must have in depth technical and functional knowledge of the Oracle HR and Oracle Payroll applications in a public sector environment, with a minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience with Oracle EBS. Must have knowledge/experience with Oracle HR/Payroll, and Oracle General Ledger; knowledge/experience with Oracle Labor Distribution, Oracle Grants, Oracle Time and Labor, and/or Employee Self-Service Web Applications preferred.
