SENIOR PROGRAMMER/ANALYST

The Development and University Relations Department of Fordham University, located at our Lincoln Center campus, is currently seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst. Responsibilities include designing, developing and implementing solutions leveraging ad-hoc and pre-canned reporting solutions to facilitate strategic initiatives; maintaining and enhancing existing reports, extracts and data loads, as well as working with management and users to create new ones; upgrading and testing software releases; and developing documentation and training materials. In addition, you will help build and maintain a cohesive team, and work with management and team members to identify, analyze, and develop solutions for user requirements and needs.

To qualify, a Bachelor's degree in a computer related field plus 5+ years of programming experience are required. Must be proficient in programming with WebFOCUS, be familiar with SQL and PLSQL, and possess DBMS experience (Oracle preferred). Experience reporting against a Banner Database in a University setting is a strong plus; familiarity with Solaris is helpful. Must be proficient with Web Development tools, such as HTML and Javascript (Dreamweaver).
