The University of Minnesota’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) seeks talented IT professionals to join our team. Senior Systems Analysts and Systems Analysts will perform systems analysis tasks for a variety of enterprise systems. These roles work with the Business Analysts to understand business needs and create detailed system requirements from business requirements documents.  Deliverables include: systems requirements and system process flows, facilitating conference room pilot sessions, functional designs, and test scripts for those business owners who do not have systems/ business systems analysts. Analysts will also be responsible for documenting and escalating project issues, and working with management to identify potential resolutions.  We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

·  BA/BS degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a closely related field.

·  3+ years of analysis experience; 4+ years of experience for the senior position.

·  Strong systems analysis and technical systems skills.

·  Development experience with PeopleSoft or Java.

·  Experience using a structured software development methodology.

·  University-related information technology experience is preferred.
