Service Response Coordinator/Dispatcher

The Service Response Coordinator assists in the daily operation/communication of the Service Response Center by providing critical technical, customer service, operational and administrative support. This is a second shift position (4 PM - Midnight) and is scheduled for five consecutive nights, Saturday-Wednesday (Thursday and Friday nights off).Minimum of three years experience in a similar position with an emphasis on providing stellar customer service, maintaining excellent communications and problem solving skills. Customer Service Certification or and Associates Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with various software programs with and emphasis on spreadsheet applications, database management and word processing programs preferred: including Microsoft Word, Excel, FileMaker Pro, Fox Pro and online work order management system. Excellent technical skills and proficiency in required programs strongly desired. Excellent time management and organizational skills in a multiple priority environment required. Excellent listening skills coupled with outstanding written/verbal communication skills required. Essential personnel classification with this job. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed, come in earlier, stay later and work additional shifts especially during peak periods or as emergencies dictate. Knowledge of university policies and procedures combined with established resources and relationships within the university community preferred.
