We currently have an opening for a Speaker Bureau Manager. Duties include: daily oversight of the operations and staff engaged in speaker program event planning and management which includes work flow and process management. Management of staff quality control is an essential component of the position, and requires attention to detail. Candidate must be able to identify and report on all process and client issues and trends to the Account Director. Must also have the ability to understand and prepare data, identify trends and offer proactive solutions. Daily review of staff work volumes, reports, review of phone coverage and assignments, staff training and development, CMS management are elements of the position. The ESB Manager will cover phones as needed. Position will have several direct reports. Minimum of 3 years of medical education experience. Previous staff management experience required. Previous experience with speakers bureau, the pharmaceutical industry and medical faculty is a plus. Must be a service oriented, self-starter with managerial experience preferably in a call center or customer service environment. Demonstrated ability to work independantly and proactively. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (with strong Excel experties) and web applications are necessary. College degree preferred. Overtime and some travel are required.
