Specialist, Instructional Designer

Full-time, non-classified position. Salary: $45,000/annually.    Qualifications: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Design, Digital Media Design or equivalent; project management experience; extensive knowledge and application of skills in instructional design theory, principles, and practices; considerable skills and abilities in a wide array of technology software programs, demonstrable project management skills; excellent communication skills; and sufficient generalist knowledge to be able to serve numerous content areas. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience in quality control and needs assessment. Must be experienced and proficient in the pedagogical theory foundational to instructional design in distance learning and hybrid courses. Must have expertise in web design; course management software; expert knowledge of basic computer graphic production software applications; and interface design.
