Strategic Product Analyst, SAT®

The College Board, a national educational organization, is conducting a search for a Strategic Product Analyst who will contribute to the development of SAT product strategy and planning through a wide range of consumer, market and product analyses. This is a growth opportunity for someone who has strong quantitative skills in data analytics and is interested in applying them to a consumer market-driven business.

 

The Strategic Product Analyst will perform detailed analyses related to business strategy and planning efforts for SAT products. Specific responsibilities include the following:

 Compile, analyze and report on market, competitive and business performance indicators.

Research and analyze industry data, and track trends, variances, and observations to provide market, competitive and product intelligence.

Conduct in depth analysis of customer product history and value; develop and enhance customer segmentation models.

Develop and maintain analytical databases and reports, access and manipulate data from multiple databases containing student information and purchase behavior.



Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis of data, preferably within a product management, brand marketing, market research or similar environment. An MBA is desirable but not required.  Candidates must have demonstrated proficiency with MS Access, SPSS or SAS or other database and analysis packages, as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
