The Art Institute of New York City (Ai NYC) is a leading institution for career preparation in the culinary arts, restaurant management and graphic / multi-media web design fashion design, and video production industries. The Institute is an affiliate institution of The Art Institutes, a system of 45 schools throughout the United States which offers post-secondary education programs that prepare students for careers in the above curriculum.

 

 

Job Description

 

The Student Advisor would be responsible for academic advising, student scheduling, the externship program and other student-related initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; academic training in a related field; ability to successfully interact with students; must have strong oral and written communication skills; excellent organizational abilities, and most of all, great problem solving ability; proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications a must. 1-3 years experience needed.
