Student Employment Coordinator Job Description Achieve placement rates, general student satisfaction, and maintain effective working relationships with all other departments. Acheive placement goals to meet standards. Assist students and/or graduates with finding employment. Contacting graduates to determine placement status. Research and report industry trends. Help with the set up and holding of job fairs, and the availability of employment in general for all students. Coordinate and organize speakers for orientation, open houses, graduation; and monthly speakers on campus. Establish new industry contacts for lead generation, Advisory Board, and industry speakers. Coordinate exit process for graduates. Resume tracking, placement status and level of assistance at time of graduation. Delivers presentations for students. SKILLS/ ABILITIES: Excellent interpersonal communication skills including written and verbal communication, customer service, management and dynamic platform skills a must. Proficiency in MS Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet is helpful. Basic sales skills; public speaking; general statistical analysis skills; willingness to seek out and embrace positive change. EXPERIENCE:  Two plus years of experience assisting people with the acquisition of employment; proven track record of successful placement; experience in a team and goal-oriented environment; experience in a customer service environment; general understanding of proprietary education philosophies and policies. EDUCATION:  Associates required, Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
