Subject Matter Expert

The American College of Radiology, the premier professional association for radiologists, seeks a Subject Matter Expert to facilitate educational curriculum development for its new Education Center.  The Subject Matter Expert works with physicians and faculty to identify, extract, and develop educational materials for course delivery.

 

Successful candidates will:

 

• create timelines and quantifiable markers

• manage aggressive deadlines

• learn and develop in this role quickly

• be familiar with medical terminology

• work in conjunction with ACR members, faculty, and staff to ensure successful

  completion of goals and objectives

• manage faculty input and delivery schedules

• adapt well to change

• be proficient in learning development

 

Qualified candidates will have:

 

• BA/BS degree in Education, life sciences, or related field; Master's degree desirable

• 4-6 years project management experience

• 2 years of curriculum/training experience

• Informatics experience desirable

 

Minimum Skills Required:

 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Presentation skills

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in an environment with conflicting priorities and timelines

• Ability to synthesize information quickly and effectively

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
