Substitute Teacher

Shift: Day

Status: Occasional

Location: Sheppard Pratt Health System - Towson Campus

Program: Forbush School Primary Program (two positions available)

Description: The Forbush School Primary Program is in need of Substitute Teachers. Instructs students according to lesson plans for academic work which have been prepared by regular teacher. Responsible for the behavioral management of assigned students. Maintains orderly classroom learning environment. Demonstrates knowledge of the age-specific student needs in instruction. Keeps attendance records; may grade students' work. May assume responsibility for lunch duty, bus duty, or participate in field trips. May utilize audiovisual equipment. Requires bachelor's degree and 1-3 months related work experience

Salary: $100/day for short term; $50/day for half day assignments. $125/day for long term – after 10 consecutive work days (two weeks) in the same assignment.
