Summer Teachers (36 day SPED Outdoor Ed Program)

The Brandon School, a special education school and residential treatment center for boys, is seeking energetic and dedicated teachers to join our summer staff (potential for school year positions, as well). Brandon's unique, 36 day Recreation / Education program is a great opportunity for recent grads and for seasoned teachers looking for a summer position! Classroom work takes place in the mornings and the afternoons are filled with planned activites, fieldtrips and outdoor education experiences. Summer at Brandon is an exciting time for staff and for our students.

 

Salary begins at $125.00 a day and is based upon education, experience and certifications.

 

Program orientation begins June 17th and program runs through August 19th.Requirements: 1. Teaching Certification required, SPED certification preferred 2. Previous experience in alternative education / SPED setting a plus 3. Desire to make a positive contribution to the wellbeing of clients with emotional and behavior problems
