Surgical Technology Instructor - Adjunct Job Description General Purpose:  To provide effective course instruction to meet desired learning outcomes; academic advising; support institutional objectives.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:  *  teach courses as assigned by the Director of Education*  provide assisstance for the planning, development, and maintenance of the program curriculum*  adhere to and publicly support School policies and procedures, including but not limited to, the faculty handbook catalogue*  attend graduation ceremonies*  serve as a role model for the students*  conduct classes using organized and interesting methods Education:  *  MUST have graduated with an ASSOCIATES degree from a CAAHEP accredited school*  MUST be a CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST Skills and Experience:*  documented expertise in Surgical Technolog and Operating Room Scrub techniques*  excellent interpersonal, oral and written presentation, and communication skills*  MUST have 3 years of Operating Room Scrub experience
