The successful candidate must be capable of owning and managing the enterprise collaboration systems maintained by the Release Management organization.Responsibilities include managing the collaborative documentation and issue tracking systems, translating business processes into workflows in those systems and providing administrative support to the user base. This involves not only translating existing processes, but also advocating for best practices in the evolution of those processes. Communication skills are essential; candidate must be able to communicate with multiple teams to resolve issues, including remote teams.Out of state (AZ, MN, UT) or country (Vancouver BC) may be required (ten to fifteen percent). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Candidate must have experience installing and configuring web applications which utilize Java EE application servers or servlet containers. Additional requirements:-Must have advanced user level experience with POSIX operating systems (eg: Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, BSD, UNIX, et al.)-System level scripting (2-4 years) (bash, CMD)-Experience with SCM systems (2-4 years) (eg: Perforce, Subversion, ClearCase, CVS, etc.)-Administrative experience (1-2 years) with issue or defect tracking systems (eg: Jira, bugzilla, trac, et al.)-SQL experience with various relational database servers (eg: Oracle, Sybase, MS SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:-Server administration experience (2-4 years) (Mac OS X Server & Windows Server 2000/2003 preferred)-Systems scripting languages - (Perl, Python, Ruby, VBScript, AppleScript)-Atlassian Jira issue tracking system-Atlassian Confluence enterprise wiki-Apache httpd server -Apache tomcat application server-Atlassian Crowd single sign on servePlus:-Java EE-Apache Velocity templating engine-Jira Plugin Development Kit-LDAPEDUCATION:-B.A. in a technical field such as MIS, CS, or Math preferred
