Job Purpose: Consults, plans, installs and configures Enterprise Application Integration software for the K-12 school market by identifying integration requirements; mapping data elements; installing and configuring integration software; synchronizing databases; and conducting complete customer SIF Implementations.Job Summary: Establishes system integration requirements; establishes system; assures proper system performance; documents system analysis; upgrades systems; enhances job knowledge and skills; protects organization's value; accomplishes organization goals.Essential Functions and Basic Duties: 'Establishes system specifications by consulting with users; analyzing and documenting data workflow, mapping, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure. 'Establishes system by planning and executing the installation, configuration, and testing of Enterprise Application Integration software, mapping data elements among applications, and synchronizing application data. 'Verifys system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor. 'Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation. 'Prepare data analysis by comparing data workflow against specifications and existing application database fields, creates mapping documentation. 'Prepares users by involving users and educating them on each step of the implementation; providing references and support. 'Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and partners; documenting, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software. Performance Measurements: 'Maintains effective relationships with managers, coworkers, and clients. 'Meets customer service goals by providing world-class service and meeting or exceeding customer expectations; maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications/Experience:'Excellent multi-tasking skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction. 'Advanced WAN knowledge, including advanced TCP/IP, Ethernet, hubs, switches, routers, and network configuration. 'Experience in hardware and software provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, IP addressing & routing, servers, databases, operating systems, and applications. 'Extensive experience with network and IP maintenance including security services, load monitoring, system resiliency, firewalls, proxy servers and SSL. 'Extensive knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.'Extensive experience in system administration, including system maintenance, web server support, Internet connectivity, security services, load monitoring, and back-up procedures. Experience with XML is highly desirable.'Develops best practices. Establishes standards, policies, and workflows. Documents technical solutions for knowledge base.'Available to work after hours and weekends, as required. 'Experience configuring, installing, and supporting database software such as SQL Server, Oracle, mySQL, etc.'Capable of designing and delivering instructional training to assist in client training and support. Education/Certification:'Bachelors Degree in a technology related field or equivalent work experience.'MCSE or CNE - Helpful but not required.
