Teach English in China

Job Purpose:

Promotes and nurtures the English language capabilities of students by planning and tailoring courses of study; monitoring, assisting with, and correcting, academic efforts; providing a safe environment conducive to learning.

Duties:

* Educates students.

* Engages students in a fun and interactive learning atmosphere.

* Tailors course of study by developing modifications for several levels of academic ability and previous achievement.

* Monitors, assists, corrects, and grades student results by preparing assignments and tests for in-school preparation and homework.

* Maintains records of academic performance.

* Provide student support.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Loves children, sense of adventure, desire to travel or learn about Asia, dedication, good communication skills, self-motivation and willingness to live in China for one contract year.

To apply you must hold a bachelors degree (although it does NOT need to be in education), be a U.S. citizen and speak English as your first language.
